Meet The Team
ANDREW DASSO
AIA NCARB LEED AP BD+C
Owner | Principal Architect

Andrew started [design] [build] by architects in 2015, which was rebranded to Streamline Architects in 2018. He works on all stages of the project from initial client contact through construction. Throughout his career, Andrew has stressed the importance of an integrated design team where the owner, architect, consultants, and contractors work together to deliver a high-quality project, and he continues to look for new methods to achieve this goal. 

JAMES PHELPS
AIA | NCARB | LEED AP BD+C
Senior Architect | Studio Director

James has been in the architectural profession since 1989. His emphasis has primarily been on building design and presentation graphics. James has been responsible for the design aspects of various projects, from municipal buildings to commercial structures. He develops both exterior and interior design concepts via hand sketches, physical models, and computer renderings.

CRAIG SHANNON
AIA | NCARB | LEED AP
Senior Architect | Studio Director

Craig Shannon joined Streamline Architects as a senior architect and studio director in 2021. In his role, he is responsible for project design, document coordination, and construction administration for new and existing projects. Before joining Streamline Architects, Craig worked on many project types in just as many roles, from space planner, modeler, corporate architect, specifications writing, and experience with LEED Certified projects, as a LEED Accredited Professional.

CALEB ROGERS
AIA | NCARB
Senior Architect | Studio Director

Caleb is a licensed architect with experience in a wide variety of project types in multiple regions. From high rises to diminutive renovations, his primary focus is building projects that become more than the sum of their individual parts. Guided by his experience in the construction trades, Caleb leads teams of owners, designers, and builders with a collaborative and transparent approach.

SALONI PATEL

Senior Architect

Saloni Sheth is a senior architect and has been with Streamline Architects since 2019. She is responsible for project design, document coordination, and construction administration for new and existing projects. She is a licensed architect and holds licenses in Illinois, Iowa, Pennsylvania, and Montana. Saloni holds a Master of Architecture as well as a Master of Civil Engineering with a specialization in Cost Management, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

MELISSA MORSE
AIA | NCARB
Senior Architect

Melissa is passionate about architecture and interior design and believes successful designs have a positive impact on the people who occupy and interact with the built environment. She studied architecture at Iowa State University and abroad in Europe and China. She is a licensed architect with over 12 years of experience in a variety of project types and manages them from the initial ideas to completion. Her proficiency in 3D modeling streamlines the designs to reality.

JESSICA MOLACEK
Director of Marketing | Brand Creation

Jessica joined Streamline Architects in 2022, bringing over a decade of experience shaping brands that tell a story. With a background rooted in hospitality design, she’s created everything from bold restaurant identities to refined hotel branding all across the Midwest. Her journey has also taken her into the worlds of casinos, gaming, and even banking—each adding a new layer to her creative approach. Logos are her love language, and she thrives on building brands that look great and feel personal. For Jessica, great design is about capturing the heart of an idea and turning it into something people connect with.

JOSHUA ARGUELLO
Senior Project Manager

Joshua is a senior project manager at Streamline. Since 2017, his role has spanned multiple facets, including client relations, design, and construction administration. Joshua began his career in the healthcare industry with notable experience on the Univerity of Iowa's Stead Family Children's Hospital. His passion is for healthcare and civic architecture.

LUZ UPEGUI
Senior Project Manager

Luz received her undergraduate and master’s degrees in Architecture at the University of Illinois. She began her architectural experience in 2018 as an architectural associate and project manager. She is currently on the path toward licensure in the state of Iowa. What drives her passion is designing spaces and buildings that become a part of the environment and resonate with end users.

Architect

Andrew is a licensed architect and received both his bachelor's and master's degrees in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He joined Streamline in 2024 with over a decade of experience in a variety of sectors and project types throughout the entire design and construction process. His collaborative approach to complex problem solving builds strong relationships and produces successful projects for the whole team: clients, contractors, consultants, and the community.

ADAM WINKELMANN
Project Manager

Adam is a project manager with a few years of experience in architecture. He is passionate about working on project teams for a common goal that makes a positive impact on the lives of end users and the community. He received a Master of Architecture from Iowa State University.

NOAH STRAUSSER
Project Manager

Noah is a project manager with experience in residential, commercial, and park projects. With every project, he hopes to give clients exactly what they need in a one-of-a-kind package. Through renderings and animations, he gives clients an inspirational and accurate glimpse of their completed projects. Outside of work, Noah is a member of the Riverchor Community Choir and sits on the board of the Niabi Zoo and Forest Preserves Foundation.

LISA MCCLAY
Project Manager

Lisa joined Streamline Architects in 2023. She received her undergraduate degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her passion is for residential architecture and design. Before switching career paths into architecture, Lisa served full-time in the Army as a chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear specialist. Lisa is still serving today in the Army National Guard and has been beholden for 10 years.

HANA SUMMERS
Project Manager

Hana joined Streamline Architects in 2025, after graduating from Iowa State University with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and a minor in Sustainable Design. Her passion for architecture as a whole, rather than a specific niche, allows her to find joy and purpose in every project she undertakes.

MANSI SANGHVI
Architectural Designer

Mansi is an architectural designer, handling both existing and new projects with the team in the office. She received her master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is currently on the path toward licensure in the state of Iowa. She believes designing is not just about creating spaces, but building lives. With a concentration in urbanism, her goal is to design more cohesive, community-driven, and experiential spaces to build positive impacts in our neighborhoods.

NAVEEN REDDY BAARLA
Architectural Designer

Naveen holds a Master of Architecture degree with a concentration in Building Performance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He joined Streamline in 2024, driven by a passion for solving design challenges in innovative and artistic ways that meet client needs. Naveen is committed to designing buildings that are not only functional but also socially responsible and environmentally sustainable.

EMILY STORM
Project Manager | Interior Design

Emily received her bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University. She began her interior design career in 2015 as a residential designer, focusing on custom kitchen and bathroom design. Throughout her career, she has had extensive experience with hospitality design. She enjoys all stages of the design process, but getting to work with a client from initial design ideas to the final touches is her favorite part.

EMMA JOHNSON
Project Manager | Interior Design

Emma graduated from Milwaukee Institute of Art + Design with a bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture + Design. She joined Streamline in 2024. She previously worked as a residential designer focusing on interior remodels and furnishings. Now, at Streamline, Emma enjoys working on hospitality design projects. As a project manager at Streamline, Emma is involved in projects from schematic design to the final stages of construction. Emma’s favorite part about interior design is experimenting with different materials when creating spaces and how they can affect different moods.

BUFFY KAPLAN
Design Library Manager | Interior Design

Buffy graduated from The University of Iowa with a bachelor's degree in Science Education, and a master's degree from National Louis University. She was a teacher in the suburbs of Chicago and Des Moines before moving to the Quad Cities, where she took time to stay home with her two daughters. Buffy joined Streamline Architects in 2019 after a career change and now manages the Interior Design Library. She has always loved the creative outlet of interior design and enjoys working on both commercial and residential projects.

JOE HOTLE
Office Manager | Photographer

Joe Hotle joined Streamline Architects as an office manager and photographer in September of 2017. He is a business graduate of Western Illinois University in the Quad Cities. Wearing many hats, Joe has worked to fill in gaps from benefits administration to cleaning in an effort to help facilitate Streamline's growth over the last few years. In that time, he's grown in aptitude with a camera as a self-taught photographer and is responsible for most of Streamline's images.

MADDUX DASSO
Mascot

Maddux is here to make everyone smile and have a great day! All the tummy rubs and attention are a bonus! You’ll mostly find him cuddled up on his bed, roaming the office for attention, or begging certain team members to go outside. Maddux knows who the weak links are. He wants to go outside multiple times a day (even when he doesn’t have to) because he knows when he gets back in, he gets a treat!
