Active Endeavors

Active Endeavors at Iowa River Landing truly brings the outdoors in for a welcoming customer experience.

For the Active Endeavors project in Coralville, Iowa, we focused on bringing custom glulam beams into the space, evoking the feel of a mountain lodge, and reinforcing the brand’s outdoor ethos. The six large storefront windows truly bring the outside in. A custom checkout counter sits at the center of the space to serve as a functional focal point, showcasing natural materials, like handpicked stones and a kiln-dried live edge cherry countertop.

Incorporating key elements from the brand’s identity was a priority for the owner. We painted the walls a striking green pulled from Active Endeavors’ logo, which carries a strong impact throughout the shop. The project reflects a seamless blend of architectural form and interior function, resulting in a retail environment that enhances the customer journey and strengthens the brand’s physical presence.
