Necker’s Jewelers

Over the past 130 years, Necker's Jewelers has experienced sustained growth, prompting them to seek a new space that would embody their brand and enhance their marketing efforts for the future. They approached Streamline with the desire for a distinctive, one-of-a-kind design that would solidify their identity in the Quad Cities.

With its custom tapered metal panels, LED accent lighting, and eye-catching feature corner, it’s hard to believe the reimagined Necker’s building was once a nondescript retail strip center occupied by Mattress Firm.

The design intent was to create an abstract, diamond-inspired form at the prominent corner, a striking sculptural element that commands attention and announces Necker's presence. Through innovative architecture and materials, the once-unassuming structure has been elevated into a jewel-like centerpiece, reflecting the care, craftsmanship, and unparalleled selection that have defined Necker's for generations.

Streamline first prototyped the tapered elements with East Moline Sheet Metal to meticulously engineer each of the panel joints, and then we collaborated with Balaity Property Enhancements for the interiors.
