Rock Island Arts Alley

Streamline collaborated with the City of Rock Island and the Downtown Alliance to reimagine Arts Alley, which had been neglected for decades. By gathering public input, we developed a comprehensive design strategy that began with a single alley and can be adapted for other areas throughout Downtown Rock Island.

Streamline developed and presented conceptual designs and budget breakdowns for Arts Alley to City Council members, City of Rock Island staff, the Downtown Alliance steering committee, and the public through numerous engaging meetings to gather valuable input. We also delivered comprehensive design packages showcasing streetscape and placemaking enhancements for grant applications.

Our team also provided preliminary cost estimates for grant budgets and developed thorough construction documents and specifications for industrial design elements. This project became a vibrant kickstarter of a greater revitalization process for Downtown Rock Island, which we are also proud to have been a part of.
