As architects, we are always looking for new ways to create vitality in the spaces we design. At Streamline, we design 3-4 volunteer projects per year that can benefit our community, and the East Village Food Truck Park is one of them.
If you've driven along River Drive in the East Village of Davenport, Iowa, you've likely noticed a vacant property near the Trestle Bridge.
Our team was discussing how we could make this vacant space, useable while providing something to our community. We came up with the idea of, a food truck park.
Our dream is to take this land and develop an interactive outdoor area filled with live music, food trucks, and space where families can hang out!
While for now this is a dream, maybe someday it will become a reality!
