Architect Led Fabrication!

It has been over a year since we launched Streamline Artisans, the architect led fabrication company in East Moline, IL and sister company to Streamline Architects.

We have had the opportunity to contribute to several remarkable projects in the Quad Cities, including the office furniture for East Moline Glass, the furniture and casework at the Tangled Wood restaurant, the hanging table at ROAM, the tables at the Combine restaurant in East Moline, the metal casework at the Foundry restaurant in Bettendorf, and several custom builds at the Rust Belt shops and venue in East Moline. Although we played the role of Architect in each of these projects, our team really began to shine when we had the ability to design and fabricate. We are no longer restricted from having a 20 foot hanging table in a restaurant or a 10 foot fire pit at the entrance We are now able to provide the opportunity for our clients to have a very unique and special furniture piece within their space that no one else has in the Quad Cities and beyond.

Our fabrication is led by architects, but is successful because of the integration of our industrial designer, metal fabrication team, an our office manager and photographer. Our summer intern has even helped with deliveries this summer! The team effort to create something very special in the design and fabrication community has led to the success of the collaborative design studio we have developed in East Moline.

In the next couple weeks, we will have a showroom available for anyone to shop or be inspired for new ideas within their business or home. The showroom will feature furniture settings comprised of custom dining room tables, coffee and end tables, bookshelfs, credenzas, small trinkets, bar decor, or any other crazy designs our team may create. We hope to make custom designed furniture available to anyone who steps foot in our office, showroom, or shop!

And lastly, August 30th and 31st, Streamline Artisans will hosting the Iron + Grain Maker Festival at the Rust Belt to showcase the custom furniture built by our team as well as several other woodworkers, blacksmiths, ceramicists, glass blowers and artisans from the Midwest. The festival will be in conjunction with two concerts at the Rust Belt, Ceelo Green on Friday and Nathanial Rateliff and the Night Sweats on Saturday. There will also be food trucks, bounce houses, chainsaw art demonstrations, and much more for the family to enjoy. Vendors can still sign up to attend! Streamline Artisans has been successful due to the hard work and dedication of our team and the willingness of our clients to take a risk with a new idea here in the Quad Cities. We are very thankful to all who contributed and look forward to our exciting future!
